In Spiderman 3 the game,how do you beat Venom at the construction site?

I tried shooting web shots at him but that does'nt slow him down.In Spiderman 3 the game,how do you beat Venom at the construction site?
ok I just beat him like a week ago, heres what you do, you start punching him and just do your hit combos for a while and his life bar will go down slowly but surely, after a while of doing that he will go bereserk and jump into the air and do a meteor crush after he does this twice he will get into a hit combo of his own dodge this at all cost once he finishes his combo do one of yours and after a while of this either he will do something in the construction site that lets an Iron Beam fall which you can then use it to weaken him(or you might notice the beam there) after you use the beam he will start to scream you then hit him with your combos after you hit him he will begin his hit combo again remember to dodge this repeat this last step until his life bar is depleted.
