How does the Spiderman 3 Ps2 game compare to the Xbox360 and PS3 versions?

I have a ps2 and really want this game. However, I want to know how the ps2 version compares to the new gen versions. I dont want to miss anything important, so should I wait to get a Ps3 to get this game? I understand that the graphics arnt as good on Ps2, but im not worried about that. Gameplay wise, does the PS2 spiderman 3 live up as best as it can to the others?How does the Spiderman 3 Ps2 game compare to the Xbox360 and PS3 versions?
Its not just the graphics, I just rented it for PS2 and I like it, especially since its not 100% word for word from the movie. The problem I had with Spiderman 2 the game is that it was the exact story from the movie; I played and beat it a few days before the movie came out so it kinda ruined the movie for me.



-Anyways about the game IGN actually gives the lowest rating to the PS2 one. Xbox 360 - 6.0, PS3 - 6.0, Wii - 5.7, PS2 - 3.5, DS - 8.1 (out of 10)

-wearing the symbiote suit and regular suit is scripted until you beat the game then you can switch

-Also while playing as the black suit different moves are unlocked.

-PS3 you can play as the New Goblin.

-2 bonus villains: Morbius and Shriek

-You can transform into the black suit at will, which increases your health, strength, speed, and combos. But you cant stay in this form forever or else you will passout.



Dont quote me on this but I think on PS3 and XBox360 you can go into the sewers and subway freely while on PS2 you can only do it when the story relates to it.



Anyways I cant really compare it to PS3 since I havent played it but being able to play as the New Goblin seems cool and the gameplay itself is different. However I like transforming into symbiote spidey wheneva im getting my butt kicked on PS2 so its your call.



I personally wouldnt buy the game because 1. Im cheap 2.I do not like buying single player games due to the lack of replay value. I have the game cuz i get a free rental at blockbuster once a month.How does the Spiderman 3 Ps2 game compare to the Xbox360 and PS3 versions?
