It would help of you listed the exact specs of your computer. Either way, I will list some ideas of what it could be. My first question would be if you have integrated graphics instead of an independent graphics card. Type "dxdiag" into your search bar and look for the name of your graphics card. If the links that come up indicate that it is is an integrated graphics card, then that is probably your problem. This is because an integrated graphics card is much weaker than almost any modern independent graphics card. Not having a strong enough graphics card is usually the main culprit in laggy gameplay. It could also be your processor. Same thing, after you type in "dxdiag", look for the strength of your processor. If it is weaker, or around the minimum requirements of the specs on the spiderman game case( considering you still have the case) then that could also explain the lag. You could also try lowering the graphical quality of the game through the options menu. If the lag decreases the weaker you tune the graphics, then your computer just not up to playing the game on higher quality. Like you said, it could be the ram, but a gig of ram should be plenty for a game like spiderman 3. in terms of RAM, it just means how much the game will take in order to play, now if you got two things running at the same time, and lets say that Spiderman 3 takes 1 gb of RAM to paly then you will experience slow movemwnts or even a little message saying that your low on virtual memory
