Has there been a better Spiderman Game than the second movie's adaptation yet?

I'm asking this mostly because I haven't played a Spiderman game since the third movie's adaptation which had massively bad gameplay structure for what at the time was supposed to be next gen. So I don't really know if I've been missing much or not.Has there been a better Spiderman Game than the second movie's adaptation yet?
I have asked myself that same question time and time again. The webslinging from Spiderman 2: The movie: the game hasn't been outdone yet. In fact it seems with every new iteration Spiderman gets more linear.

I've heard Web of Shadows has some nice webslinging sections, but nothing close to the freedom in the second game. It's a sad thing.Has there been a better Spiderman Game than the second movie's adaptation yet?
The original "Spider-Man" which was released as a PS1, N64 and Sega Dreamcast title were all pretty good Spider-Man titles to play before the movie adaptations and current releases. I highly recommend the Dreamcast version, as it is the closest you will get to "HD" graphics. Gameplay is virtually the same across all three console versions.
